Kamikaze Girls

Hi my sugarsweet barbies!!



I´m sorry that a week is
already passed since I wrote
my last post. ಥ‿ಥ
Now, that my school has started,
my life is a little bit more
stressful than it was in the vacation.


Nevertheless, it´s not to stressful to
watch a few movie´s XD.
One of those films was "Kamikaze girls".
In Japan this movie is called
"Shimotsuma Monogatari".
This film got me interested,
because interviewers asked lolitas
again and again if they like
"Kamikaze Girls" and what a meaning
it has in the lolita-scene. <3
So I watched that movie and now
I´m writing how I think about it.

 

Story:
The main characters are Momoko and Ichigo.
Momoko lives with her father and
her deranged grandmother in a village,
which is called "Shimotsuma".
Her mother has left momoko as she was
six years old. She decided to stay with her
father, so her mother could start a new
and happy life. ❁´◡`❁
At the same time momoko and her father
must move from her hometown, cause
her father got in trouble as he earned money
by selling fake brand-name clothing.
As the confused grandmother needed
help and also had a house they moved to
the land and wanted to try a restart.(☆^ー^☆) 
Her father always searched for new business
ideas, but he unfortunately remained
unemployed. Only with odd jobs and
the money from the grandmother they
could pay something. Ｔ∇Ｔ
At this time the rococo era-loving momoko
found the lolita fashion and started to visite
the shop "Baby, the stars shine bright" regularly
(her father don´t like that hobbie really,
because the money was still little).

♡That´s Momoko. I love her dresses in the movie!♡

 

One day Momoko wanted to go shopping
when she noticed that the money
was tight as ever. ¬ ‿ ¬
So she created an advertisment on the internet,
where she sells fake Versace clothing,
which she still had from her father at home.
Thereupon announced the biker Ichigo
(which calls itself Ichiko) to see the clothes.
Ichigo became biker, when she was bullied
at her school, because she was a
very good student. She says what she thinks
and beats everybody for fun. (*ﾟ_ﾟ*)
Since that time Ichigo visited Momoko 
every day. As an excuse she said,
that she needs clothes, but
it seems more like she wanted to
close friendship with Momoko. ●⌒∇⌒●

♡And that´s Ichigo. Her motorcycle is everything for her♡

 

The two girls do more and more
together and get to know each other better.
Ichigo tells Momoko, that
Himiko (also a biker) is her role model. ´◡`
She protects her troops from
all evil gangs and fights against the Yakuza.
She is the idol for all bikers.
Then things change worse.
Ichigo´s gang think that she spends
too much time with Momoko,
..what they not really like.
They want to throw Ichigo out of the
gang, but before they want to fight with her. (×_×)
That´s a ritual for the sacking.
Momoko heard about the fight and
hurries Ichigo to help.
But even as she gets into the fight, she
can save herself and Ichigo with a lie.
Momoko says, that she is Himiko´s 
daugther and commands the gang to
let Ichigo go and otherwise keep quiet
or she tells it her mother.

Of course I have not mentioned
all the details.
So it's still worth to watch the movie XD.
That was only a summary so you
know what it is about.

How I think about it:
I think the film is more comedy.
You shouldn´t take it all too seriously.
After the first ten minutes, I thought to
myself , what is this idiocy? ─‿‿─
But the film gets really better.
So please, don´t throw away your nerves
after a few minutes, the movie is ok.
It is about friendship and the different
lifetsyles of the two girls. <3
You also can see in the movie, that a lolita
has a personality and don´t lives strictly
according to the label.
Overall I give the film 4/5 points.
Althought the film isn´t very well
done and not always accurate, but you
will certainly laugh and be entertained.
